                                                                Introduction to Computers

WHAT IS A COMPUTER?

A computer is an electronic machine which accepts the input from the user through input devices (Mouse, Keyboard, scanner, webcam, and camera) process these inputs by CPU and give us the result through output devices(Monitor,Printer,Speaker,Plotter  and projector)

MAIN PARTS OF COMPUTER?

There are many parts of computer but given below are the main, means without any of them computer system is incomplete.

INPUT DEVICES:

The devices that are used to give the instructions to the computers.

e.g:- Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball, Scanner, Webcam, camera etc.

CPU:

The central processing unit. is made up of circuitry and computer chips,

Which perform the motherboard calculations The CPU is often what people call the

Box in which the all of the computer's circuitry is housed.

OUTPUT DEVICES:

The devices that are used to show result/information processed by computer.

e.g:- Monitor, Printer, Projector etc.
