Heat Engine , Internal Combustion Heat Engine , External Combustion Heat Engine , Operation of Heat Engine , Efficiency Of Heat Engine.

 Heat Engine :

A device used to convert the heat energy into mechanical work is called heat engine.

. There are two types of heat engine.

i). Internal combustion heat engine.

ii). External combustion heat engine.

Internal Combustion Heat Engine :

A engine in which combustion takes place in a cyclinder this is called internal combustion heat engine.

. Automobiles are examples of internal combustion.

External Combustion Heat Engine :

An engine in which combustion takes place without / out of cyclinder this is called external combustion heat engine.

. Stream engine and power plant engine are the examples of external combustion heat engine.

. In order to understand the mechanism of thermodynamics we use the external combustion heat             engine.

There are two parts of heat engine.

i). H. T. R / Source

ii).  L. T. R / Sink

Operation of Heat Engine :

. Heat engine perform the work on the basic of cyclic process. It takes heat from H. T. R and converts the maximum portion of this heat into mechanical work and rejects the remaining portion into Sink ( Atmosphere).

Efficiency Of Heat Engine. :

The Ratio of output to the input is called Efficiency of heat engine.

. It is denoted by "Etta"

Derivation for :

But the efficiency of heat engine can never be equal to 100% because Q2 can not be equal to zero in the real engine.

. The most efficiency engine is only the car not engine. It is more efficiency in the compression of steam engine, deseal engine, petrol engine,  jet engand the nucteor engine.

. Even the efficiency of imagineing engine ( car not engine)  is not 100% .
